WHO WE ARE

We are a dedicated group of individuals who have been profoundly touched by our experiences in the small mountain community of Khoriya, Nepal. We recognize the severe limitations in education resources throughout the country, where those who can afford it often send their children to private schools for a higher quality education. In Khoriya, the primary school stands as the sole government institution, forcing students to embark on hour-long journeys to the nearest town for further education beyond the primary level.

One significant obstacle faced by students seeking higher education is their limited English proficiency, which further hinders their opportunities. In response to a request from the Khoriya school committee, we have taken the initiative to fund an English teacher. Furthermore, the school has expressed the need for an additional building to accommodate secondary education. The Nepalese government has committed to providing a teacher for secondary education if the community can construct the school building.

Enhancing educational resources in Khoriya holds paramount importance not only for the local students but also for those from surrounding areas that have even fewer opportunities. We humbly invite you to join us in supporting these Nepalese students in any way you can. Nepal, one of the world's poorest countries, faces numerous challenges such as economic hardships, natural disasters, and corruption. Together, we can make a profound impact on the lives of these children and their communities.
